Cleaning Bath Toys

I was going to throw away some of my daughters toys because some of them were starting to grow mold. I thought I would try cleaning them first, but didnt want to use bleach just in case it left lingering chemicals on her bath toys.
 I got out a large kitchen bowl, mixed 2 cups vinegar, and the rest with hot tap water. I squeezed the mixture in and out of the bath squirters a few time and scrubbed the other toys and wala! clean!

Crockpot Chocolate Cake

Trying this tonight! Edit: if you have a smaller crock pot this does not work. I would reccomend it for wider, normal crockpots.

Did you know you could make chocolate cake in your crockpot?

1. In a large bowl, Mix:

2 cups sugar

1 3/4 cup flour

3/4 unsweetened cocoa powder

1 1/2 tsp baking soda

1 1/2 tsp baking powder

1 tsp salt

2. In another bowl, Mix:

2 eggs

1 cup milk

1/2 cup veggie oil

2tsp vanilla extract

3. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix.

4. Pour into buttered/baker sprayed crockpot.

5. Turn on LOW setting and cook for 3 hours or until the cake pulls away from  sides and looks done.

Popovers

I made cloverleaf bread rolls (Recipe Here) the otherday, and i wasnt that pleased with them. They were good, but I want something fluffier! My mom told me about popovers, and I really want to try them. The recipe (Click here) said that the deeper the pan, the bigger and fluffier the popovers! So I was thinking about buying a specail popover pan to make them.

Less then 2 weeks left now!

Evelyns nursery is finally done now that the changing table is here and put together! It was a pretty akward/ uncomfortable experience putting the table together but it looks great! Its sturdy and im really happy with it. I think Im going to buy some organizers for it so it looks less cluttered.

Concert!

Yesterday was exhausting. We went to see Dead Iron's CD release party at Peabody's last night. They were really good :) We both really liked the Approach and the Blue Exicution. They played 2 shows before Dead Iron.
Today has been a nice relaxing, sunny day. The sun feels wonderful and its kinda nice not doing much today.
